BE BACK SOON!

Hey Everyone!

Long time no post... again!

Sorry for the lack of posts, this month has been super busy with all the travelling I've been doing! I thought I would be able to keep up however I've been unable to post really!

Although I did manage to get a video up this week! It's the boyfriend tag with my wonderful boyfriend Tom, so click here if you'd like to watch that!

Anyways there probably won't be any posts or videos up within the next 2 weeks as I'm on holiday in Spain! However if you would like to keep up with me and my travels the best place to follow me is on Instagram (@masontho__) where I post all my pictures and stories! All links to my social media profiles are on the right of this blog so please make sure you're following them all!

I promise when i get back blog posts and videos will be much more regular!

A DAY IN LIVERPOOL

Hey Everyone!

So today's another one of my 'day in the life' posts! I love these posts because they just give me the chance to document fun things I've done!

So last Friday, as you may know if you're following me on Instagram - which if you're not you totally should be (links on the right of my blog). I went to Liverpool!!!

I went with Tom and my mum, our main aim of the day was shopping - like lots of it, seriously. As we're going on holiday at the end of this week (look forward to, hopefully, some blog posts about my holiday! No promises though) we wanted to replenish our wardrobes with some more summery attire! Click here to see a haul of all the clothes I bought on my YouTube channel!
Anyway, it's safe I say I have enough clothes for our trip to Devon with my family (we leave this weekend) and our trip to Spain with Toms family (we go a few days after we return from Devon) now!

On a whole I hugely enjoyed Liverpool as a shopping destination! Especially Liverpool One, after all the money put into it, it's a really great place to shop and spend the day in general! Among the shopping there's a cinema, crazy golf and a bunch of options for places to eat! We chose Zizzi's for dinner and had a super lovely meal! Although I'm a super bad blogger and didn't get many pictures, haha!

Of course we kept shopping after dinner! But once we'd finished shopping we decided to have a quick walk down to the Albert Docks! It's only a five minute walk down from Liverpool One and was  lovely to sit by the water whilst having a drink!

We then finished off the day by getting a burger at Byrons and heading off home! All in all it was a lovely day spent with my two favourite people! I'd definitely recommend Liverpool as a place to visit and shop to anyone who's coming up to the north!

Thankyou for reading and I'll try to post as much as possible whilst I'm away on holiday, but no promises! To keep up with me and everything I'm doing make sure youre following me on all my social media (links on the right of my blog)!

Thanks for reading and see you soon,

SUMMER WALKS

Hey everyone!

So yet again it's been two weeks since I uploaded a blog post! I promise this isn't going to be a re-curring thing! I'm doing my best to get on track with my uploading schedule! Also, speaking of uploading I just uploaded my second youtube video!!! If you'd like to go watch it just click here. Please make sure you subscribe, like and comment! I'd love to know what you guys think! Anyways, lets get into the actual blog post...

So it's summer, meaning good weather which we'd all like to take advantage of, especially if you have time off like us students! However this often can get expensive. For example days out and meals out all cost a lot of money! But sometimes we forget we often have a lot of great sights not far from our own homes. So recently one thing I've been suggesting to people is going on walks! As me and Tom (my boyfriend) are going on holiday soon we're trying to save as much as possible to spend while away! So we've started going on walks and taking a picnic made of stuff we already have in our fridges!

We've both found this a cheap relaxing way of spending our time off! It also allows us to catch up and talk to each other rather than just sitting watching TV (which is always great but sometimes it's nice to get out). This idea is also a great thing to do with friends wether there's two of you or more! I think it's great to get out more in the summer and really enjoy the countryside or area you live in! Especially in England, we have some really amazing countryside we are able to go and explore.

However if you're sat at home right now thinking 'A Walk? That's so boring'. Think Again! Along with the picnic you can take along with you, if you go to any fairly popular sight seeing destination or country park you can usually buy ice-cream from somewhere close by for pretty cheap! And lets be honest who doesn't love ice-cream?! Not only that but you can also take pictures perhaps for Instagram or even just as memories! As you can see in this blog post on a walk me and Tom recently went on we took my camera and took some pictures. You don't need a big camera though! Any phone now generally takes fabulous pictures! You could even perhaps take some outdoor games to play if you're going with a few friends! And if all of this hasn't got you excited to get out and experience the outdoors, you could always just go and walk round your local town to catch some pokemon on PokemonGO!

Anyways I hope this has given you some inspiration to get out and about this summer! Have a great time and be safe!

I'll be back soon with a new blog post! In the mean time make sure you're following all my social media accounts to keep up to date with me and when I upload new content (links are on the right of my blog).

OUR VISIT TO CLOUD 23

Hey everyone!

So I've not uploaded in almost two weeks because I've been super busy! But today I can finally sit down and write a blog post for you all! YAAAAAY!

So just over a week ago it was my mums birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM) and a week ago today me, my mum, brother and Tom went to Cloud 23 in Manchester for afternoon tea to celebrate! So i thought I'd write a little about my experience and how it was! Once again I apologise for the photo quality, I had to take all my pictures on my phone as my SD card is still being temperamental. I should probably get some new ones... anyway enough about SD cards, more about Cloud 23.

For those of you who don't know, Cloud 23 is a bar/venue located on floor 23 (hence the name) of the Beetham tower in Manchester. Whilst they are a bar they also do afternoon tea, which is what we went for.

Cloud 23 is accessed through a private lift, which honestly I found extremely exciting haha. But as soon as you reach the top, the feature you instantly see is the panoramic views of the city through the floor to ceiling windows. The views are honestly breath taking and it was rather an incredible place to spend a monday afternoon!

As soon as we were entered the bar we were greeted by helpful and friendly staff. Although we were rather early they still seated us almost immediately. The decor in the whole bar was incredible and so luxurious, the tables were set beautifully and can I just add how comfortable the seats were! Oh my gosh, amazing. We ordered drinks as soon as we sat down, I ordered a milk hot chocolate to start which was amazing AND they actually had white hot chocolates which I tried later which was also delicious. We did have an issue with one drink as my mums cup of tea was cold, however all we had to do was ask and they instantly brought over a brand new, steaming hot cup. Which immediately solved the issue and they were extremely lovely about it.

Our afternoon tea was served not long after getting our drinks and honestly, it was amazing. I don't know how many times I've said amazing but thats the only way i can describe the whole thing haha.
My mum is a vegetarian along with having to eat gluten free and they suited all of her dietary needs brilliantly along with bringing both afternoon teas on separate trays. we were served a selection of sandwiches and desserts along with scones. Everything tasted incredible and looked stunning! Honestly if you get a chance to go and try the afternoon tea! DO IT!

In conclusion our visit to Cloud 23 was extremely enjoyable and super fun! It was a great way to celebrate my mums birthday and I will certainly be returning if possible!

Thanks for reading and see you soon,

P.S. My birthday haul which i promised will be coming soon, its just super long and taking a while to edit! I will link it here when it's done! But make sure you're following me on instagram and twitter to find out when I release it also!

What I Did On My Birthday!

Hey Everyone,

Can't believe I've not posted in almost two weeks! Life's been super busy but i'm eventually finishing up my first year of sixth form college so I should be able to post more often over summer!

Anyways, as I'm writing this, my 17th birthday was last week (the 23rd of June to be exact, put it in your diary for next year haha!). I had such a lovely day with my boyfriend, friends and family! I took a few pictures throughout the day so thought I'd share them with you all. Also sorry if the picture quality isn't that great, my camera and SD card decided not to work on my birthday so I had to just use my trusty iPhone camera! Anyway, enjoy...

So, in my family, the night before our birthdays we set out all our cards, presents and cake (this year I got a flake one, chocolate cake's my fave) on the table the night before and my mum usually decorates the dining room of our house with banners and other decorations. So that when we wake up we can come downstairs and open everything before we go out for the day. This year was no different! I was so lucky with all the lovely gifts and presents I got off family and friends. If you're wondering what those gifts are I'm hoping to upload a 'What I Got For My Birthday' video over on my youtube channel this week. So please make sure you go over and subscribe to that: here. Along with following all my social media accounts (links on the right of my blog) to keep up to date with when I upload videos and blog posts.

I then had to go into college to attend some lessons unfortunately. However luckily I finished early at one o'clock and my boyfriend, Tom, met me on the train and we headed into Manchester. Ignore how awful I look in the picture above, unfortunately I didn't take as many pictures over the day as I would've liked! Once in Manchester we went and got Pizza Hut buffet for dinner (my favourite meal ever) and Tom gave me his gift. He'd wrapped it in such a beautiful wrapping paper and gave me a lovely card. I'll give you a sneak peak into my video, but he got me an amazing grey backpack from Zara and i had a massive surprise when I opened the bag to find a pair of black toms packed inside. It was such an amazing, thoughtful present, I'm so grateful and lucky. However after the meal we then went and had a little bit of a shop around the centre of manchester.

From Manchester me and Tom then got the bus to the Trafford centre where we met my mum. We went for a super big shop around the Trafford Centre, where i'd not been in a while, and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shops on offer there! I'd completely forgotten how big it was! If you're interested in what I bought make sure you keep an eye out for my 'What I Got For My Birthday' video later this week.

We then went for tea at 'The Gourmet Burger Kitchen' in the food court at The Trafford Centre. Only Tom had been before and I think both me and my mum were surprised at how much we enjoyed it. The food was amazing along with the service we received. It was especially great for my mum who is a vegetarian and allergic to gluten, they had options to satisfy both these needs. So don't be put of by the idea that it's a 'burger' restaurant as I'm sure there'll be food options for all your party regardless of dietary requirements. After this we had another wander around the shops before heading home for the night.

So in conclusion I had a fantastic, relaxing day spent with the people I care most about. Thankyou to anyone who wished me a happy birthday, bought me a card or present or just in general made my day fantastic.
I'd highly recommend anywhere I visited in this video, especially the Gourmet Burger Kitchen along with the Trafford Centre if you've not been in a while!

Please make sure you follow all my social media outlets to make sure you keep up with what I'm doing! I hope to be uploading way more frequently now that its summer so make sure you're following me on bloglovin to find out when I upload new posts!
